  • One-year program that provides students an in-depth exposure to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Students will take the National Certification Exam, upon completion they will be qualified to register with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy to work in the state of Virginia

Preparing and dispensing prescriptions
Compounding medications
Preparing intravenous medications
Stocking medications
Repackaging medications
Communication and customer service skills
Brand and Generic medications schedules and classifications

  • Completion of Algebra I and English 10 with a grade of “B” or above
  • Pharmacy Technician
